Email Account Access

A-1 Electric employee email accounts can be accessed via a web browser or using a mail client application.

Important Note:

If using a mail client, don't forget to set the account display name to your FIRST LAST name.

Accessing Webmail

You can access your email account via a web browser by visiting email.a-1electricltd.com or from the A-1 Electric homepage using the "Employee Email" link in the navigation menu.

Email Client Configuration

Use the following settings to configure your email account on various devices and email clients:

  • Incoming Mail Server (IMAP): mail.a-1electricltd.com
  • Port: 993 (SSL/TLS)
  • Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.a-1electricltd.com
  • Port: 465 (SSL/TLS)
  • Username: Your full email address (e.g., firstname@a-1electricltd.com)
  • Password: Company Issued

Setting Up Outlook

To add your new account in Outlook:

  1. Add the new IMAP account: Go to File > Add Account, enter your email address, select IMAP, and configure using the auto configuration. If auto configuration fails, please use the settings provided above.

Setting Up Apple Mail

To add your new account in Apple Mail(macOS):

    Add the new IMAP account:
  1. Go to Mail > Add Account, select Other Mail Account, and set up using the settings provided above.
  2. Verify Port Settings:
  3. Go to Mail > Settings > Accounts, select the A-1 Electric account, and click the Server Settings button. Uncheck "automatically manage connection settings" for both incomming(Port 993 Use TLS/SSL) and outgoing(Port 465 Use TLS/SSL) connections.

To add your new account in Apple Mail(iOS):

    Add the new IMAP account:
  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Mail > Accounts > Add Account, select Other Mail Account, and set up using the settings provided above.
  2. Verify Port Settings:
  3. Select the new A-1 Electric account, and click the Account Settings button. Select Advanced for incomming(Server Port 993 Use TLS/SSL); go back to Server Settings to select SMTP > Primary Server for outgoing server(Port 465 Use TLS/SSL) connections.

Common Issues and Troubleshooting

If you are experiencing issues with web access, please clear your browser cache and refresh the page. If you are having issues with a mail client, please restart your device. If issues persist, consider removing and re-adding your account ensuring that the port numbers are correctly configured. For other mail clients not listed, the process should be similar to Outlook or Apple Mail using the email client configuration settings provided above.
